Preventative Maintenance Fitter

Producing some iconic New Zealand beverages, The Pride is one of New Zealand’s large format breweries. At The Pride our preventative maintenance team support with ensuring the equipment onsite continues to operate efficiently. As a Preventative Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for supporting with the reliability and asset care of production equipment on site. This role will see you executing maintenance plans and updates in line with the operations of the brewery.

The Pride operates Monday – Friday 24 hours. This role consists of day shifts and will weekend work (twice a month).

Some of the things you’ll be doing in the role

• Support with the preventative maintenance strategy for site
• Work with the Asset Planner to plan and execute maintenance work
• Engage in root cause problem solving to minimize downtime events
• Support with the delivery of work orders
• Champion a safety-first culture at the Brewery

Some of the skill you will bring:

• Dual or Mechanical trade qualification
• As least 2 years’ experience in maintenance or reliability
• Stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring people on a journey
• Digital literacy skills and the drive for results
• An understanding of production and packaging within an FMCG environment
