Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

We are currently looking for Mechanical Maintenance Fitters (Production Fitters) to join our team.

The Role 

Step into our reliability team in this preventative maintenance role, looking after our assets across Lion :

• Reliability activities to optimise production and minimise downtime
• Scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns
• Assist contractors attending the site for equipment maintenance
• Champion a safety-first culture across the Brewery Bullet Points

These are a shift-based roles, on 2-week rotations. This will include 2 weeks of mornings (6am – 2pm) followed by 2 weeks of afternoons (2pm – 10pm) on rotation as well as the potential to have one week per month on call (role dependant).

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A mechanical maintenance trade qualification or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• Decision making in ambiguous situations
• Proven communication ability and a team player attitude
• Strong motivation to succeed and deliver quality results
