In July 2023, we launched a stand-alone spirits division, bringing together Australia’s leading gin business, Four Pillars Gin, and Vanguard Luxury Brands, the country’s top importer, marketer, and distributor of premium spirits.
We’re now looking for a talented Trade Marketing Executive to join our Spirits Marketing Team in Sydney on a permanent, full-time basis.
A day in life…
Working in a larger marketing team of nine and reporting to our Brand Manager, our collective purpose is to develop & deliver brilliant drinks initiatives that influence shoppers and drinkers whilst establishing strong partnerships with our customers.
Your key responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

Develop and deliver exciting, impactful, insight-led trade marketing and shopper marketing campaigns across the Light Spirits & Liqueurs portfolio in both on-premise & retail environments.

Collaborate with brand and sales teams to develop and implement activity that is in line with brand plans, ATL media plans and customer/channel strategies with clearly defined KPIs to measure against.

Develop briefs and collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to deliver best-in-class trade and shopper marketing activities within budget and on time.

Communicate effectively and efficiently to coordinate activity across a diverse range of customers and markets whilst ensuring that the brand principles are always upheld.

Conduct post-campaign evaluations to ensure Vanguard Luxury Brands are striving to deliver continual improvement in efficiencies and ROI.

Plan, prepare and support with the delivery of presentations required to sell in quarterly activity for field execution.

Support Brand Manager with campaign budget management, calendar management, planning and execution.

Continuously developing and identifying process improvement opportunities
What you will need from day one…

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

A positive and proactive mindset that embraces a collaborative culture of learning and knowledge sharing.

Experience working in trade or shopper marketing, hospitality, events or a strong knowledge of the drinks industry will be highly regarded.

Excellent project & time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
