We are searching for a ServiceNow Developer to join our Digital Operations Team in Sydney, reporting into our Head of Application and Service Management. You will become the catalyst for unlocking the full potential of ServiceNow’s capabilities. Your role will involve fostering strong relationships with business, IT and ServiceNow stakeholders. By promoting a culture of trust, critical thinking, and business acumen, you will push the boundaries of ServiceNow's capabilities, contributing to the continued success of Lion. The role is hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from home much of the time.

 

A day in the life

  • Understand business requirements and implement technical solutions based on standard design principles.
  • Work with Architects, Service Delivery Managers, and Team Leads to create high-level and detailed designs for requirements.
  • Estimate the configuration and development effort needed for implementing requirements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in working with workflows in key areas of the ServiceNow platform, such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Security Operations (SecOps).
  • Drive process optimisation, efficiencies, and productivity through automation.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Strong ITSM background and understanding of ServiceNow best practices.
  • 1-2 years’ experience developing and operating ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical skills, communication, and presentation skills.
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Certification as a System Admin (CSA), Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM/event management and CSM.
