We are searching for our next Senior Group Strategy Analyst to join our Group Strategy team in Sydney. You will help develop and deliver Lion’s group strategy. You will work closely with Lion’s most senior leaders, across all functions, engaging with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation. The role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your career in corporate strategy as well as opening a wealth of future career pathways. The role is hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from the office and from home.

 

A day in the life

  • Build your understanding of the FMCG and alcoholic beverage sectors, e.g. consumer trends and competitive dynamics
  • Anticipate future trends, share market insights and provide thought leadership to senior stakeholders on business implications
  • Identify value creation and growth opportunities for the business
  • Articulate Lion’s group strategy, and initiate its execution together with the business
  • Support M&A initiatives and execution across Australia, New Zealand and the US
  • Grow strong relationships and networks

 

What you’ll bring

  • A growth-focused mindset
  • The ability to simplify complex topics and communicate clearly
  • Proactive curiosity, being a self-starter
  • 3-5 years’ strategy experience at a consulting firm or within a top corporate team
  • Consumer goods experience is a plus
