We are searching for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Group Finance Team in Sydney, reporting into our FP&A Manager. You will support the FP&A Team in the delivery of consolidated budgets, forecasts, performance reporting and analysis for the Group Leadership Team, Board and our parent company in Japan. Your analysis and insights will enable senior management to make better decisions and manage business performance to drive strategic targets and return outcomes. You will work closely with various Finance teams as well as having exposure to senior management, providing an excellent opportunity to build your partnering skills and commercial acumen at a Group level. The role is hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from the office and from home.

A day in the life

  • Work with Business Unit finance teams to consolidate and report on budget for the Group
  • Drive regular, high-level reporting to the GLT, Board and our parent company
  • Support capital management forecasting and reporting
  • Conduct analysis and provide insights to support value-adding decision-making
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Strong accounting skills
  • Good Excel, data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A continuous improvement and challenger mindset
  • Degree qualification in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
  • CA/CPA/ACCA qualification (or working towards)
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a large corporate.
