We are looking for a strategic and passionate Senior Customer Activation Manager – On Premise to join our Customer Marketing team in Sydney. The role is permanent and full-time, reporting into our Customer Marketing Manager - On Premise.
In this critical role, you’ll lead the development and execution of on-premise customer activation plans that bring our brand, marketing, and sales strategies to life — connecting consumers with our brands in powerful, commercially impactful ways. You’ll partner key national and state accounts for incremental growth, whilst working cross-functionally and externally to deliver campaigns that drive conversion and strengthen customer partnerships. The role is hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from the office and from home.
A Day in the Life:
- Leverage customer and consumer insights to inform tailored activation strategies that drive engagement and performance.
- Develop and implement end-to-end activation plans aligned with brand strategy across in-store, digital, and experiential channels.
- Collaborate with sales, brand, trade marketing, and category teams to align plans with commercial objectives.
- Own the activation budget and manage costs across multiple campaigns and initiatives.
- Act as the key interface with agency and on-premise partners to ensure flawless campaign execution.
- Set key performance metrics, monitor performance, and use data to optimise execution and demonstrate return on investment.
- Build and maintain strong trade relationships, developing joint business and activation plans.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, building capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years' experience in sales, marketing or category roles, ideally within FMCG.
- Proven track record in customer or shopper activation with strong project management skills.
- Ability to connect insights, strategy, and execution to deliver winning outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset with commercial acumen.
- Agile, solutions-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of the consumer and how they behave on the path to purchase.
