We are looking for an experienced and reliable Quality Assurance Officer (internally called Packaging Quality Analyst) to join our Tooheys Packaging Team in Lidcombe on a 12-month Maternity Leave Fixed Term contract.

 

This is a shift-based position, and will rotate weekly between AM(6 am to 2 pm)  and PM (2 pm to 10 pm) shifts Monday to Friday.

 

Reporting to the Packaging Quality leader, you will:

  • Support site performance achievement by driving a quality culture through coaching & building capability in production team members.
  • Assist production teams by being a key part of New Product Development and changes to packaging and brewing specifications.
  • Support and provide expertise with product quality testing and support packaging material non-conformance activities.
  • Ensuring key analytical equipment is available and fit for purpose.

About You:

  • Experienced in coaching & building quality capability with non-technical team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Quality experience in manufacturing or food and beverage environments.
  • A degree in biological sciences, chemistry, food technology or related disciplines is essential.
