A day in the life:

• Capability Development: Focus on enhancing Category Strategy, implementing Best Practice Tools and Processes, and fostering Innovation.
• Value-add Initiatives: accelerate Working Capital, stay abreast of Emerging Trends, and contribute to Business Continuity Planning, Compliance/Risk initiatives.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Support category teams in driving supplier performance, fostering collaboration, and identifying joint business opportunities.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Promote Responsible Sourcing, increase Diverse Supplier Spend, and address Emissions concerns.
• Technology Integration: Engage in end-to-end design, assess System choices, and explore E-solutions for Procurement efficiency.
   

What you’ll bring:

• Strong Commercial and Strategic Acumen, with a focus on driving business objectives.
• Proven ability to network externally and research industry best practices, innovations, and policies.
• A continuous improvement mindset, adept at challenging the status quo and identifying optimal solutions.
• Extensive Managerial Experience, with 8+ years in commercial roles, preferably within a Centre of Excellence (COE) environment and ideally within FMCG and Procurement sectors.
• Exceptional project management skills, demonstrated through successful management of large-scale projects and the ability to influence strategy through best practices collaboration.
