New Product Development Specialist
Sydney, NSW, AU
At Tooheys, we’ve been brewing iconic Australian beers for generations - and we’re still evolving. We’re now looking for a driven NPD Specialist to join Tooheys Brewery on a Permanent Full Time basis.
This is a hands-on project management role for someone who thrives on momentum, loves juggling multiple stakeholders, and knows how to drive great innovation through strong execution on the brewery floor.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a close-knit team, reporting to the Site Optimisation Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of New Product Development and product change projects across the Supply Chain.
Your key focus will be promotional and innovation-driven projects, where pace, precision and collaboration are everything.
You’ll be:
- Owning multiple NPD projects from concept through to execution on site
- Leading project planning, timelines, risk management and delivery outcomes
- Partnering closely with Marketing, Innovation, Packaging, Brewing, Engineering, Quality and Planning teams
- Coordinating site resources and priorities to deliver against the NPD pipeline
- Driving clear communication, reporting and stakeholder alignment across the business
- Owning site NPD processes, including SAP product master data accuracy and material sign-offs
- Being proactive — spotting issues early, taking initiative and driving solutions through to completion
- Championing safety, quality and continuous improvement in everything you do
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing multiple, fast-moving projects in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills -you can influence, align and challenge when needed
- Experience or exposure to New Product Development, product change or promotional activity
- A proactive, ownership mindset - you don’t wait to be told, you take initiative
- Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems) and structured processes
- A collaborative, practical approach that works just as well on the floor as it does in meetings
Experience in brewing, beverages, packaging or FMCG manufacturing will set you up for success, but attitude, drive and curiosity matter just as much.
