Ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a driven and passionate commercially minded professional to join our Independents team as National Account Manager – IBA, based in Sydney and reporting to the Customer Director – Independents.

 

A day in the life
As our National Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing the day-to-day trading relationship with the merchandising teams of key National Customer Groups. You'll be the driving force behind our sales growth, developing strategies, and executing plans to ensure optimum business outcomes.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and maximise revenue
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of BSW A Strategy and expertise in converting strategic imperatives into sales and customer strategy
  • Intimate knowledge of the decision making and buying processes of large On / Off premise customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the customer and consumer and emerging directions that could be leveraged to improve volume rate and mix through the program
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge

 

What you will need from day 1:

  • Ability to form constructive relationships with customers, cross functional peers and business partners
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with proven experience building and executing category growth strategies
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tenacious and resilient approach, driven to achieve despite adversity
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities along with a good understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
  • Experience developing and executing category sales and marketing strategies
