Your day in the life of a Lion insights Specialist  

We are looking for a Consumer Insights Manager to join our Marketing team reporting directly into our Head of Insights and Foresights based at Lion HQ in Sydney CBD . 

In this role you will get to impact some of Australia’s biggest and most iconic brands, like Tooheys, Hahn, XXXX, Stone & Wood, Four Pillars and more where you’ll get to combine your insights & research experience with your strategic thinking skills.  You will support the brand and innovation teams using a deep understanding of the consumer and your strategic thinking to create powerful brands and deliver best practice in the marketplace.   

  • Champion consumer-first thinking throughout the business.
  • Ensure powerful consumer insights underpin all commercial, creative, product innovation and brand activities.
  • Lead insightful and actionable strategic Deep Dives on key issues and/or opportunities, ensuring recommendations are clear and well supported with data and insights.
  • Lead brand, connection and innovation research, ensuring the selection of the best research agency and methodology to solve key business questions, and evaluate future growth opportunities and past activities.
  • Advise brand and innovation teams on the best approach to make informed decisions using a range of consumer insight approaches.
  • Build the capability and know-how of the broader marketing team to understand consumer insights, research techniques and interpreting results into action plans.

 

 

To be successful you will bring

  • Passion for our consumer and how we can bring their insights back into our brand teams to influence the future of our iconic products.
  • Experience leading and influencing stakeholders with proven communication skills.
  • Expertise in quantitative research and comfortable in using data packages e.g. Q, Conjointly, Qualtrics
  • Demonstrated knowledge in market research methodologies, consumer insights, cultural insights, brand positioning, and brand identity.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn insights and intelligence into actionable brand strategies.
  • Significant experience in delivering complex projects.
  • Experience within FMCG / Consumer Packaged Goods preferrable.
  • Expertise in quantitative research
