We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Group Financial Control Team, reporting into our Senior Financial Accountant. You will play an important role helping to build a best practice accounting services function, adding value through governance, process excellence and business partner connectivity.

 

This role will support Payroll Accounts, where you will work closely with Payroll and our People & Culture and Finance Business Units, as well as our offshore Manila team. The role is hybrid, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work from the office and from home.

 

A day in the life

  • Deliver financial insights to business partners through timely reporting and analysis
  • Gain an end-to-end understanding of accounting processes relating to tax, month-end close, payroll, intercompany and balance sheet governance
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Support various projects including automation, integrations and system changes
  • Build capability and greater financial acumen across the team and business partners.

 

What you’ll bring

  • An analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving capabilities and solutions focus
  • Great stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with excellent communication.
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Critical thinking skillset with strong learning agility
  • Degree qualification in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
  • CA/CPA/ACCA qualified or working towards
  • 3+ years of broad accounting experience in a large organisation (commercial and/or tax/business services in public practice).
  • Exposure to Payroll Accounts would be advantageous
