At Lion we believe in the power of great storytelling—both inside and outside our business. We’re looking for a Communications & Digital Channels Specialist to help shape and share our story across internal and external platforms.

As our Communications & Digital Channels Specialist, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering engaging content that supports Lion’s strategic priorities. You’ll have a passion for finding great stories and packaging them up for various internal and external channels and then help spread the word across a range of print, digital and social platforms, ensuring our audiences stay informed, inspired, and connected.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Communications & Digital Strategy Implementation

  • Work with the Internal Communications & Digital Channels Leader to develop and implement engaging comms strategies across all channels.
  • Manage content calendars for internal platforms (intranet, email, Yammer) and corporate social media (LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Collaborate with teams across Marketing, People & Culture, Sustainability, and Supply Chain to identify and share great stories.

Community & Content Management

  • Manage two-way engagement on Lion’s corporate social media, ensuring brand alignment.
  • Create compelling fit-for-purpose digital content (written, visual, and video) that speaks to specific internal and external audiences.
  • Develop monthly internal newsletters and support EVP (Employer Value Proposition) content for Lion’s Talent team.
  • Manage updates to Lion’s corporate website.

Performance & Compliance

  • Track and optimise content performance across platforms.
  • Ensure social media content aligns with Alcohol Beverages Advertising Code (ABAC) and industry regulations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in an in-house comms or marketing role or social media agency.
  • Skilled in storytelling, with a mix of visual production and written communication.
  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and execute across multiple channels and projects.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Yammer/Viva Engage, Canva, or Adobe (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and risk management.

Experience in FMCG/alcohol industry is not required but advantageous.
