Your day in the life of a Lion Brand Manager  

We are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager to join the Heineken brand team in Lion Australia business. This role reports into our Heineken Country Manager and is available for a month fixed term contract until Mar 2026.

The purpose of this role is execution of the Heineken brand plan in line with business and brand objectives. You will lead brand activities including the development and ongoing management of brand campaigns that drive brand equity, as well contributing towards brand innovation.

  • Lead key campaigns and support Country Manager in line with consumer & commercial objectives.
  • Support development of brand strategy and ensure execution of brand plans that influence consumer behaviour for the long term and achieves commercial goals 
  • Review brand performance against consumer and commercial datapoints to support shot term and long-term brand goals
  • Manage internal communications of brand information
  • Partner Internal and External stakeholders (Category, Connections, Insights, Shopper, Agency Partners) to deliver key campaigns & projects.
  • Brand Budgets (managing & forecasting)

  • Brand Management Expertise – Experience turning brand strategy into execution (ATL & BTL), leveraging innovation, partnerships, and activations.
  • Data-Driven Thinking – Ability to connect consumer and commercial insights into actionable brand strategies.
  • Strong Collaboration Skills – Proven success working across multiple stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Commercial & Strategic Acumen – Knowledge of brand planning, innovation, communications, and P&L analysis.
  • A relentless energy & positive attitude – action-oriented, capable of moving at pace and embracing challenging projects.
