We are looking for our next Beer Systems Technician to join our On Premise (think pubs and hotels) Draught Quality Team, reporting into our Draught Quality Systems Manager. This is a permanent, full-time role. You will play an important role in enabling our On-Premise customers to deliver a superior draught quality experience. You will work closely with our sales teams, including the National On-Premise and Field Sales Teams, and engage with customers, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your collaboration, customer service and technical skills.

 

This role services Greater Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle. We’re flexible as to where you’re located, so if you are based in Sydney, the Central Coast or surrounding areas, we would love to hear from you. Please note that to successfully cover the territory, some overnight travel will be required.

 

A day in the life

  • Deliver beer systems training programs at customer venues
  • Implement ongoing proactive support and training for customers
  • Service key customers by responding to reactive calls
  • Diagnose customer beer system issues over the phone or video call
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to deliver requirements of customer contracts
  • Support the Sales Team by installing new tap products and proprietary fonts
  • Ensure all work carried out is in accordance with OH&S regulations and industry standards

 

What you’ll bring

  • A high level of motivation, being a self-starter
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and planning skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A background in refrigeration, plumbing or mechanical trades
  • Experience in installing and/or maintaining beer systems would be an advantage
  • A focus on driving system and process improvements
