Quality Leader

Join one of Australia’s most iconic breweries and lead the charge in food safety and quality excellence. We’re looking for a Quality Leader to uplift standards, build capability, and ensure every beer we make lives up to the Stone & Wood name.

About the Role

Reporting to the Brewery Manager, you’ll own the site’s quality and food safety systems. You’ll lead a small but passionate Technical & Quality team and work closely with Brewing, Packaging and Engineering to ensure consistent product quality, accreditation compliance and continuous improvement across the Murwillumbah brewery.

About this role:

• Uplift site-wide quality ownership through training, coaching and strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Own and deploy the Site Quality Strategy, continually lifting standards that matter to our consumers.
• Partner with Brewing, Packaging and Engineering to improve OEE, reduce waste and embed quality best practice.
• Oversee on-hold and concessional release processes with clear, confident decision-making.
• Lead chemical governance, ensuring compliance, responsible use of materials and budget alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement by embedding quality elements of the Supply Chain Operating System and simplifying ways of working.
• Develop and lead the Micro, Analytical and Technical Officers, building capability across the team.

What your bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Science or similar; Brewing/Packaging Diploma a strong plus.
• Brewing and/or packaging quality knowledge is highly regarded
• Proven experience in leading technical or operational teams.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, quality governance and CI systems.
• Strong problem solver, influencer and champion of best practice.
• Able to work cross-functionally and drive site-wide quality outcomes.
