Our Vanguard Luxury Brands team are recruiting for a Sales Executive to sell some of the most exciting brands in the Australian and International spirits market. This includes iconic brands such as Fortaleza Tequila, Fuji Whiskey and the iconic Four Pillars Gin range. This is a permanent, full-time role and is an excellent opportunity to grow your sales career and gain experience within a supportive and inclusive organisation.
What does a day in the life of a Vanguard Sales Executive look like?
- You will work with our established customers, creating innovative strategies that range from account planning to in-store merchandising and promotional execution, with the goal of getting more of our brands into consumers’ hands
- You will travel to our customers’ sites to fully engage and get to know their needs to service and best support them
- You will be an absolute brand and company advocate – delivering growth through on-point brand execution
- Work with and collaborate effectively as a part of the wider Sales and Marketing Team
- Always be on the hunt for potential growth and development opportunities within current and new customers.
- You will also be responsible for nurturing and growing several wholesale customer accounts.
What are we looking for?
- A customer and consumer-obsessed individual, you’ll be motivated to build strong customer partnerships
- Sales experience in the alcoholic beverages industry would be advantageous (spirits and account management experience would also be an advantage) – you are motivated by sales and have a drive for results
- A proactive attitude and the courage to pursue new business opportunities. You should be comfortable with actively seeking out prospects and embracing each day with unwavering enthusiasm.
- Accountability: you keep your promises and deliver on your commitments
- A full, clean driver’s licence, as well as the ability to work in Australia
Please note there is some regional travel every 6-8 weeks (overnight) required to successfully cover the territory, which extends as far west as Toowoomba and as far north as Townsville.
