As part of this, we are looking for a Packaging Quality & Materials Officer (internal title is Packaging Quality & Materials Analyst) to join our team at Milton on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will report into the Packaging Quality Leader and is part of a small but critical team, governing quality standards and processes across the Packaging department, making sure every drop of our product meets the high standards our consumers expect. 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Support site performance achievement by driving a quality and safety culture through coaching and building capability in production team members.
  • Support and manage inventory control process to ensure materials availability to packaging teams
  • Prepare and deliver detailed quality reports, trends, and risk analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with different internal and external stakeholders to support packaging operations.
  • Coordinate contractor compliance and contributing to supplier performance reviews.
  • Assist production teams by being a key part of New Product Development, along with changes to packaging and brewing specifications.
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Packaging experience in the food or beverage industry, with a strong understanding of food industry standards GMP/ HACCP and inventory control processes.
  • A degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • SAP experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and coach and collaborate across teams
  • Great problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the confidence to initiate and drive improvement projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
