Project Engineer

Love bringing big ideas to life? Want to work on projects that shape one of Australia’s most iconic breweries?

We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join the Engineering team at Tooheys Brewery, delivering capital projects that improve how we brew, package and deliver our beers.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage projects safely, on time and within budget, while partnering with teams across Brewing, Packaging and Engineering to drive site improvements.

Working on a diverse range of impactful projects - this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their project leadership capability and engineering career.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading end-to-end delivery of capital projects across brewing and packaging operations
• Supporting New Product Development (NPD) initiatives by delivering equipment and process capability to the site
• Delivering projects aligned to Lion’s capital project standards and engineering practices
• Managing contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
• Ensuring all projects meet legislative, safety and engineering standards

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or similar)
• Project management experience delivering capital projects in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and align teams
• The ability to manage multiple projects while keeping safety, quality and timelines front of mind
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering results
