Brewer - Tooheys Brewery

Are you passionate about brewing and eager to take the next step in your career? We’re excited to announce a newly created Brewer (internal job title is Brewery Technician) role at Tooheys Brewery – an opportunity designed to grow the next generation of technical brewing talent. 

As a Brewer, you’ll play a key role in supporting our brewing operations, quality, and process excellence. Reporting to the Team Leader and working with the brewing team, you will develop your technical skills and deepen your understanding of end-to-end brewing processes. 

Tooheys is home to a world-class, highly automated brewhouse with large-scale fermentation and filtration systems. Did you know we brew approximately 280 million litres annually across more than 88 SKUs, including iconic global brands like Heineken and Guinness?

This is a permanent, full-time position based at Tooheys Brewery in Lidcombe. Our shift pattern rotates weekly between mornings (6am–2pm), afternoons (2pm–10pm) and nights (10pm–6am), so you’ll need to be available for all three.

What We’re Looking For

• Has a relevant Brewing qualification or is currently studying towards one, such as a Brewing Degree or IBD Certificate 

• Has a passion for brewing science, continuous learning, and quality craftsmanship 

• Brings curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to improve processes 

• Is motivated to grow into a future Technical Brewer or Team Leader
