Production Fitter - Fixed term contract

We're looking for a Production Tradesperson (Mechanical) to join our Engineering team at The Pride on a 9-month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Brewing Reliability Leader, you'll play a key role in keeping our brewery running at its best through preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and asset reliability improvements. Working closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams, you'll help drive safe, reliable and efficient plant performance across site.
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern of two weeks on mornings followed by two weeks on afternoons.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering preventative and reactive maintenance across brewing and packaging assets
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and identify root causes to improve reliability
- Supporting planned shutdowns, maintenance reviews and asset care activities
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and engineering compliance
- Using SAP to manage maintenance activities and asset information
- Partnering with Production, Engineering and Planning teams to improve equipment performance and asset life
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across site
Some of the skills you will bring to the role:
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, manufacturing or a similar industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Can line and Ferrum seamer maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Experience working with high-speed packaging equipmen and exposure to TPM or asset management frameworks is highly regarded
