Inventory Coordinator - Emersons

We’re on the hunt for an Inventory Coordinator to join our team at our “spiritual home” in Dunedin. Reporting to our Production & Purchasing Planner, you’ll play a key role in making sure our iconic brews get where they need to go – quickly, accurately, and with great service.
This position oversees all aspects of beer distribution direct from the brewery, as well as some aspects of warehouse coordination and management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and processing orders from customers (bars, restaurants, stores and at individuals at home) and stakeholders, nationwide.
- Dispatching stock accurately and efficiently, following up and correcting any order or freight issues.
- Ensuring customers’ requirements are met and communicated.
- Fostering and promoting effective relationships with our customers, couriers and other logistics stakeholders, to help champion the Emerson’s brand.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A clean, full drivers licence and a forklift operator licence, (Certification F).
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to deliver outstanding service every time.
- Ability to effectively operate autonomously and deliver on targets.
- Good numeracy levels, computer skills and ability to access and operate multiple systems to gather information.
- A team first approach with a community focused mindset.
- A passion for craft beer (and hopefully Emerson’s!)
