Material Planning Manager

Are you a driven leader with a passion for supply chain excellence? We’re looking for a dynamic Materials Leader to lead our Materials Team in Australia. This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbame.  In this role, you’ll ensure the timely, cost-effective supply of materials by anticipating demand, managing supply risks, and collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Your expertise will be critical in forecasting needs, optimizing costs, and supporting our production schedules and new product launches.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and develop the Materials Team to deliver high performance.

• Ensure timely supply of materials for AU Production Schedules.

• Build and manage relationships with AU suppliers, including S&OP processes and supporting SRM

• Identify and mitigate supply risks while achieving cost-saving initiatives.

Skills & Knowledge

• Leadership and business partnering skills to work across teams and suppliers.

• Strong decision-making, prioritization, and communication skills.

• Problem-solving abilities to address supply chain challenges.

• SAP, EDI, and supplier portal knowledge preferred.

Experience

• Degree in business or related field, with post-grad in supply chain preferred.

• Experience in FMCG, specifically in materials/supply planning or scheduling.

• Proven background in team leadership and hands-on SAP experience.
