Brewery Director - XXXX Brewery

Due to a recent internal appointment, we are now seeking an exceptional leader for an exciting opportunity to lead one of the most iconic breweries in Australia—XXXX Brewery in Brisbane.

As the Brewery Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 180+ across brewing, packaging, engineering and quality, with end-to-end accountability for safety, performance, and culture. This is a critical role within the Lion Supply Chain Team—ideal for a high-performing leader seeking a significant next step in their career.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of our operations, with a strong focus on driving transformational change, accelerating RTD growth, and building a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of brewery operations across safety, brewing, packaging, engineering and quality
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability, underpinned by TPM principles
• Drive performance while fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
• Build strong union relationships and effectively manage industrial relations matters
• Deliver operational excellence, ensuring quality, cost, and service targets are met
• Partner with national and cross-functional stakeholders to support business strategy and long-term planning
• Accelerate the growth of our RTD portfolio with a focus on capability, agility, and execution

About You:

• A proven leader in manufacturing or brewing with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Strategic and commercially minded, with a passion for operational excellence
• Skilled at leading large teams through change with confidence, empathy, and clarity
• Strong experience managing industrial relations and building collaborative union partnerships
• A developer of people and culture, committed to leadership, development, and engagement
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment with multiple stakeholder demands
