Production Coordinator

At Wither Hills, we're passionate about crafting exceptional wines, and we're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our Marlborough winery team.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Part Time 30 hours position, Monday to Friday with flexible working hours 

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with our winemaking, operations, sales and brand teams, supporting everything from bottling coordination and stock management to wine shows and international sample shipments.

Your key responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Winemaker, you'll play an important role in keeping our winery operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:

• Managing wine show entries and domestic and international wine samples.
• Overseeing stock management across our Marlborough warehouses and hospitality venues.
• Supporting vintage changeovers and coordinating stock replenishment.
• Providing administration support, including purchase orders, invoicing and record management.
• Supporting logistics for winery visitors, customers and sales teams.
• Coordinating wine bottling activities and liaising with demand planning, sales teams and external partners.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who loves organisation, enjoys working with people and takes pride in getting the details right.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in administration, production coordination, logistics or a similar role.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Excel, data management and digital skills.
• Experience with purchase orders, invoicing or stock management.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Experience in the wine industry would be a bonus, but strong coordination skills and a willingness to learn are just as important!
