Machinery Operator - Wither Hills

We have x2 permanent full-time opportunities for Vineyard Machinery Operators to join the team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day vineyard machinery operations.  In addition to this, it also includes vineyard maintenance work as and when required.  You will also be playing a part of the yearly harvest. As a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, you’ll be a part of a team who are passionate about creating wines that you’ll want to share.

This role is based at Wither Hills in Marlborough. This is a permanent full-time role and requires that you are a New Zealand citizen or resident. 

Some of the skills you will bring:

• A current, full driver’s license.
• A good level of physical fitness.
• Previous experience in a vineyard. You may have other skills which could be transferable to a vineyard situation.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Exposure to handling multiple deadlines.
• Positive attitude.

Activities you’ll be doing:

• Operating Tractor and machinery in vineyard operations (e.g., Spraying, trimming, mowing).
• General vineyard duties as required.
• Involved in the harvest operations.
• Irrigation maintenance and operation
