We are looking for an enthusiastic Cellar Hand to join our friendly and dedicated winery team. This is a full-time permanent position at the Wither Hills winery, conveniently located close to Blenheim, in Marlborough. This role participates actively in all aspects of daily operations in the winery and offers potential for growth and development.
 

About you

  • Cellar Hand experience preferable but not essential
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a willingness to learn
  • A positive mindset, strong work ethic, and a team player
  • Strong practical and technical ability and good learning agility; being open to new ideas
  • The ability to be flexible and versatile in the face of changing priorities
  • Organised and eager to maintain a tidy work environment
  • Interested in training and supporting new staff members, particularly during harvest
  • Forklift experience an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to work flexible and longer work hours such as nights and/or weekends during the harvest period
  • You will be a New Zealand resident or be legally entitled to work in New Zealand on a permanent basis, this role is not suitable for working holiday or sponsorship visas
