Material Planner

At Lion, we brew and deliver our iconic range of beverages in a fast-paced market and working environment. We are currently looking for a Material Planner to join our team permanently. 

As the Material Planner, you will be responsible to ensure on time material supply to meet LNZ’s production requirements, through the effective engagement with Lion’s Suppliers.

A day in this role could involve:

• Purchasing of materials within specified categories to ensure stock  on site to meet production plan requirements
• Manage optimal inventory levels both on site and at suppliers including aged and expiring stock to reduce write-offs
• Provide suppliers with regular forecasts for material and packaging requirements
• Manage priorities effectively to ensure materials are available to limit changes to the published plan
• Managing supplier's performance from a quality, quantity, and timeliness perspective
• Identify and assist in executing value creation, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build & maintain effective, tactical, and mutually beneficial relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
