As part of the new team, we are looking for a Global Brand Manager to lead the development of global brand strategies for Lion-owned wine brands and to partner with our global import and distribution partners to bring annual brand plans to life in key markets, delivering powerful commercial results and building meaningful consumer connections.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the global brand strategy for Lion-owned wine brands, including Wither Hills and Lindauer
  • Partner with local and international distributors on the development and execution of market plans that deliver to the global business and brand strategies and adhere to global brand standards
  • Lead the development of the global brand innovation strategy, incentivising and supporting our distribution partners; from proactively identifying new product development opportunities through to local launch execution
  • Be accountable for the development and continuous improvement and updating of all Lion-owned wine brand assets, including global trade marketing tools, websites and social media
  • Develop and execute a PR plan with wine and lifestyle media to grow awareness and positive 3rd party endorsements for Lion-owned wine brands and the Wither Hills Cellar Door experience

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Brand management expertise with extensive experience leading the development of global wine brand strategies, including brand DNA, product management and NPD, digital and physical brand asset management and well-crafted brand communications
  • Demonstrated experience and success in partnering with local and international wine distributors in the development and execution of market-specific brand plans
  • PR/media skills with a track-record for delivering enhanced brand awareness and reputation
  • Commercial & Strategic Acumen: Knowledge of brand planning, innovation, communications, and P&L analysis
  • Data-Driven Thinking: Ability to connect consumer and commercial insights into actionable brand strategies
  • Degree qualified in Marketing or related discipline
