Brewing Development Technologist

Our NPD team are looking for a Brewing Development Technologist to join them as we continue to create new to Lion and new to world products that delight our consumers.

As a Brewing Development Technologist no two days will be the same. You’ll be leading brewing development and innovations in partnership with our marketing and brand teams,  understanding consumer insights and trends. You’ll be responsible for developing liquids from scratch in our pilot plant, and seeing this through to the delivering a viable product. This will involve working with suppliers on raw materials, running trials, tastings and first productions whilst ensuring adherence to legal, technical and quality standards.
 

The strengths you will ideally bring to the role include:

• A strong technical background in Brewing
• Cross functional agility, being able to understand and easily work with other technical and operational partners and functions to influence outcomes
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ambition to learn and apply new concepts and ideas
• Solid problem solving & Project Management capabilities
• The ability to engage with a range of stakeholders

Due to the technical nature of this role, a CIBD (Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers) Diploma is highly advantageous, or the willingness to work towards one.
