The Role
As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll partner closely with 3 craft brewery sites: Emerson’s, Panhead and Speight’s, helping leaders make informed decisions that improve performance, drive efficiencies and support future growth across the breweries.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and using insights to make a meaningful difference.
- Partner with brewery leaders to provide insights, challenge assumptions and support decision making
- Build strong relationships to influence, add value and collaborate with the breweries
- Deliver forecasting, budgeting and reporting across manufacturing costs, utilities, labour and site performance
- Support value creation initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen operational outcomes
- Manage balance sheet activities and support capital expenditure processes across the brewery sites
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and embed efficiencies
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting and reporting with strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Collaborate with the Senior Finance Analyst at the Pride to align on a consistent approach across different breweries
You'll gain broad exposure across manufacturing finance while supporting some of New Zealand’s most loved craft beer brands. Future growth opportunities from this role could be within our many finance teams that partner across different areas Lion.
About You
- Experience in commercial finance, management accounting or manufacturing finance environments
- Build trusted partnerships with your stakeholders
- Currently hold or be working towards your CA/CPA
- Curious and commercially minded
- Drive to take ownership of your role and achieve
- You enjoy getting into the detail, asking questions and finding better ways of working
- Adapt to change, learn quickly and bring a proactive approach to problem solving
